                                      Daughter of Jenny McComb

I am the daughter of Jenny McComb.  My brother was in the Air Force so that was the only choice for me.  In June of 1996 I was Air Force Casualty Representative at Eglin AFB, Florida.

I was in charge of doing all the paper work for casualties from our base so their families would receive the benefits they were entitled to.  When we had the loss of 16 Airmen in Saudi Arabia, 12 were from Eglin AFB. 

We had to work around the clock to process all the forms.  I then had to meet with members of the families to inform them of these benefits.  This was a very stressful time and it was my responsibility to make this transition as easy as possible for the families.  Other than Desert Storm, this has been my most stressful duty.  I am proud to serve.
