BOBAY, MARY
Fort Wayne – MARY A. BOBAY, 91, a resident of rural Fort Wayne, and widow of GEORGE F. BOBAY, died at 6:55 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2007, at Parkview North Hospital in Fort Wayne. She had been in declining health for some time, and had been a patient at the hospital for the past two years.
Mrs. Bobay was born in Payne, Ohio, a daughter of JOHN E. and ROSE C. (SCHAEFER) RYAN, and moved to Allen County as a child with her parents.
On July 29, 1939, she was married in Fort Wayne to GEORGE F. BOBAY, and spent all of her adult life in the Huntertown area. She was a homemaker, was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Fort Wayne, and the church’s Rosary Sodality.
Mr. Bobay preceded her in death in 1980.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers:

Two brothers-in-law: FRED SCHAEFER and WYONALD “ONIE” HOOT
One sister-in-law: JEAN RYAN
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, February 5, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with Father John Kuzmich, the celebrant.
Interment was in St. Vincent’s Cemetery. Sheets and Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco was in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be directed for Masses or to Parkview Home Health and Hospice.

BEATRICE BOBAY
MRS. BEATRICE BOBAY, Resident of near Huntertown, died Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at the home of her parents, MR. AND MRS. WILLIAM MARTIN, Huntertown, Rural Route No. 2, after a short illness of complications. She was a lifelong resident of near Huntertown and was a member of St. Vincent’s Catholic Church and the Rosary Society of that church.
Surviving besides the parents, are the husband, HARLEY BOBAY

The body was removed to Mungovan & Sons Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at the home of the parents on the Auburn Road, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church at Academie with the Rev. John E. Dillon officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
