The annual meeting of the legal voters of
this District assembled at the school house in
said District at 6 o'clock PM.
The meeting was called to order by the
Director.
H. HENSINGER was elected Director for the
ensuing year.
Voted that WILLIAM C. HOLLOPETER be
employed as teacher the ensuing term.
The meeting then adjourned.

job of geting wood for said school.
Sold to the lowest bidder a job of
furnishing thirteen cords of wood at one dollar

A special school
meeting was called by the Director.
Voted that there should be a summer
school.
Voted that the Township Trustee be
requested to employ MRS. CLUTTER as teacher of
this school the ensuing year.
Voted the term of school should commence
the 18th day of this month and keep five weeks.
Then a vacation of four weeks.
The meeting was adjourned without date.

A special
meeting called by the Director for the purpose
of voting for a teacher for the winter term of
school.
Called to order by the Director.
Voted that the Township Trustee be
requested to employ GEORGE EARNEST as teacher
for the winter term of school.
Voted that the Director find a teacher to
teach the winter term of school in case the one
voted for cannot be had, if he, the Director can
find one.
Moved and adjourned without date.

The annual
meeting of the legal voters of said District
assembled at the school house and was called to
order by A. C. GRIFFIN, Director.
JOSEPH WARRENER was chosen Director for
the ensuing year.
On motion of SAMUEL FREDERICK, the
meeting proceeded to designate a teacher for the
term of school next ensuing.
WILLIAM BENDER, having received a
majority of all votes cast, was declared chosen
teacher.

The meeting failed to elect one of its
members as Director.
Voted that the Township Trustee be

for the winter term of school.

Pursuant to
notice the legal voters of School District No.
One, Perry Twp., Allen Co. in the State of
Indiana met at the school house in said District
One the 2nd day of April at 6 o'clock PM, the
Director presiding on motion of SAMUEL
FREDERICK.
the meeting proceeded to designate a
teacher for the term of school next ensuing.
ADA WARNER, having received a majority of
all votes cast, was declared chosen teacher.

Pursuant to
notice, the legal voters of School District No.
One, Perry Township, Allen county, Indiana, met
at the school house in said District on the
fifth day of October 1872 at 6 o'clock P.M., the
Director presiding.
On motion of H. HENSINGER, the meeting
proceeded to elect one of their members as
Director.
JOSEPH WARNER was duly elected as
Director for the ensuing year.
Voted that JOSEPH WARNER, Director, shall
designate the teacher for the term of School
next ensuing.

Oct. 3, 1874 |
The annual
meeting of legal voters of District No. 1 in
Perry Tp., Allen Co., Ind., assembled at the
school house in said District at 7 o'clock P.M.
The meeting was called to order by A. C.
GRIFFIN who was elected chairman, the Director
being absent.
FRANKLING GARMAN was elected Director for
the ensuing year.
Voted that the Trustee shall not hire
WILLIAM BENDER as teacher for the winter term of
school.
Voted that the Trustee be requested to
employ WILLIAM FREDERICK as teacher of this
school the ensuing term.
Contracted with JOHN RINEHOLD for 10
cords of 2 foot green boddywood, beech, sugar,
or hickory at $1.23 per cord, split, ready for
the stove, to be delivered at the school house,
ranked up on or before the 13th day of February,
1875.
The meeting then adjourned with date.

A special school
meeting called on the evening of the above date
by the Director for the purpose of electing a
teacher for the fall term of school in District
No. 1, Perry Twp.
MISS ADDA WARNER was proposed and voted
for.
____? against the vote resulted against
her.
Then MISS PHILLIPS was voted for.
The result was in favor of her being
employed as teacher for the fall term of school.
Also vote taken that if she cannot be
had, that the Trustee furnish a teacher for the
fall term of school.

The annual
meeting of legal voters of District No. 1 in
Perry Twp., Allen Co., Ind., assembled at the
school house in said District 7 o'clock P.M.
The meeting was called to order by the
Director.
Voted that B. F. GARMAN act as Director
the ensuing year.
Voted that WILLIAM KEERAN be employed as
teacher. The
result is in favor of him.
Voted if he cannot be had, that it be
left in the hands of the Director.
Contracted with MILTON MYERS for 10 cords
of wood, 2 ft green bodywood, sugar, beech or
hickory at $1.10 per cord, split ready for the
stove, to be delivered to the school house,
ranked up, on or before the 15th of February.

Pursuant to
notice, the legal voters of School District No.
1, Perry Twp., Allen County in the State of
Indiana, met at the school house in said
District on the 6th day of October, 1876, at 6
o'clock P. M.
A. C. GRIFFIN presiding.
The meeting was called to order by the
Director.
HARRISON HENSINGER was elected Director
for the ensuing year.
Voted that the Township Trustee be
requested to furnish a good teacher for the
coming winter term of school.
MILTON MYERS contracted to furnish 12
cords of 2 ft wood to be used for school
purposes.
The same to be sound bodywood, beech,
sugar, oak, or hickory, split ready for the
stove and delivered at the school house and
corded on or before the first day of February
1877.

meeting was held on the above date at 6 o'clock
P.M.
Voted that the Township Trustee be
requested to employ GEORGE KETCHUM for the
summer term of school and in case he can't be
got, that he should furnish a ________ teacher
for the summer term and also school to commence
on first day of April.

Special meeting
of legal voters of District No. 1, Perry Twp.,
Allen Co, Indiana, at the school house in said
District at 8 o'clock P.M.
The meeting was called to order by the
Director.
There was a vote taken and carried that
the Township Trustee procure a competent teacher
to teach the next term of school and that the
term begin on the 13th day of September, 1880.
Also that he furnish a teacher's desk.
Also that he furnish and put up a
suitable bell for the school house.
There being no further business, the
meeting adjourned without date.

District at 7 o'clock P.M.
The meeting was called to order by the
Director and JAMES STERLING was elected Director
for the ensuing year.

1883 |
Found in the
expense book .... Held a school meeting and
contracted with MILTON MYERS for 20 cord of
wood,
sound body wood to be hickory, or beech,
or oak or sugar,
to be split ready for the stove, and to
be ranked up at the school house on Dutch Ridge
on or before the first of March.
He agrees to furnish said wood at 99
cents a cord.
Also agreed to put poles under the wood
for 10 cents a cord.
Also a vote was taken to exclude all
children from said school that did not legally
belong.
There was 7 in favor of excluding all
children that did not legally belong and none to
return them.

Found in the
book on expenses for the school that in this
year they "held a school meeting and contracted
with MILTON MYERS for 20 cords of good sound
hard body wood at 99 cents per cord, with poles
under the wood, to be ranked in good order on
the first day of March, on or before.
Also a vote in regards to GEORGE BENDER
teaching our school.
The result was 9 for dismissal and none
to return him.
Also elected ISRAEL MYERS for Director.

School House of said District.
First in order, to elect a Director.
MILTON MYERS was elected Director.
Next in order was to let a job of getting
10 cords of hard wood went to JIM WARNER.
Agreed to deliver for $1.00 a cord.

sugar or hickory, 2 ft long, for the sum of one
dollar and twelve cents per cord to JOHN E.
GRIFFIN to be delivered at the school house on
or before March 1st, 1890, ranked up.

Township was called to order.
First in order, JOHN A. WARNER was
elected president of the meeting.
Second, Nominations were made for
Director as follows:
J. A. WARNER and A. C. GRIFFIN.
JOHN A. WARNER was elected by a unanimous
vote.
Next in order, a job of getting 15 cords
of wood, to be bodywood, sugar, beech, or
hickory, 2 ft long, to be delivered in the
school yard and corded on poles.
Was sold to PERRY WARNER at one dollar
per cord.

was called to order by the Director.
JOHN A. WARNER was elected Director for
the ensuing year.
Next, a job of getting twelve (12) cords
of wood, to be hard boddy wood, sugar, beech, or
hickory, 2 ft long and delivered on the school
grounds and corded on poles on or before April
1/92 was let to A. H. WARNER for ninety-seven
(97) cents per cord.

the first of May, 1893, at 99 cents per cord.

order by the Director.
Business was transacted as follows:
First, WILLIAM GARMAN was nominated and
one vote was cast in favor of the nomination by
a vote.
Next was the selling of the fence on the
east and south sides of the school yard to the
highest bidder, which was sold to JOHN A. WARNER
for $1.50.
Next, a job of getting 8 cords of wood to
be beach, sugar or hickory, 20 inches long,
single bank (?) to be delivered to the school
ground and corded on poles on or before the
first of May, 1894 at 99 cents per cord.

hickory to be delivered on the school grounds
and corded on poles on or before the first of
March 1895 at 78 cents per cord.

cord.

grounds on or before the 1st of March, 1898 at
70 cents per cord.

hickory or oak body wood, to be delivered on the
school ground on or before March 1st, 1899 at 68
cents a cord.

be delivered on the school ground at $1.00 a
cord.

cents per cord.
