MARRIED 50 YEARS, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Garman of R.R. 1, Huntertown, will celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary, Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 o’clock with an open house at their home on the Old Auburn Road.  They were married December 1, 1887.  On Sunday, November 28, the members of the immediate family of the couple and their brothers and sisters will be entertained at dinner at the Garman residence.  Mr. Garman was born on the same farm on which he now resides.  His father came to this section of the country from Lehigh County, PA, in 1846.
